DATCP's Bureau of Plant Industry protects Wisconsin's environment and economy by regulating invasive plant pests and diseases on nursery stock, Christmas trees, logs and firewood; and by supporting pollinator and honey bee health. We also carry out control programs designed to prevent the spread of harmful pests such as spongy moth along the leading edge of its range.
