Gardening is an all year round hobby. If you can’t grow flowers then make flowers out of beautiful glass🌸🌺🌻
Support and visit local gardens. Take pictures of your plants each week to notice their growth patterns. Find joy in the little things – a new sprout, dirt under your nails, a quick visit from a butterfly, the movement of your plants in the breeze.
I garden on Mariner’s Trail and really enjoy the outside time. My advice is to plant native butterfly and bee-friendly plants. They will reward you with many awesome and wonderful visits.
This is my tire garden from last summer. Is anyone doing this?

Take time to enjoy the beauty!
I love dahlias. I try to save every year by digging them up in the fall, drying them, getting all the dirt off, and storing them in paper bags with peat moss.
My husband recently built me raised vegetable beds from repurposed material. Why didn’t I have these sooner?
Patience is a virtue. Don’t get frustrated and always plan for improvements, additions and new plants to try. This garden is 15 years in the making. Thank you Mom for my GREEN thumbs 🙂
