Take joy. Experience your garden, whether large and well-manicured or a collection of potted plants on a balcony. Hear and see the gifts that are given to us in the garden. Listen to the birds, smell the earth, take in the warmth of the sun, and glory in the colors and textures surrounding you.
I’m looking forward to learning. I am a beginner and planted this Hibicus last summer. My advice is to enjoy the beauty and healing that’s found only in nature.

Know the frost dates for your area. Location is important for garden placement. Test your soil and amend if necessary. Choose your plants based on the amount of sun. Don’t over water or water at night. Try at least one new plant each season. Keep a journal (photos and writing) to plan for next year.
Holy Grail Hibiscus, a late blooming perennial, is a must for your sunny garden. A nice contrast is to plant Jewels of Opar at its feet.
Roses can be challenging but all they need is love to show their beauty!
