DATCP’s Bureau of Plant Industry protects Wisconsin’s environment and economy by regulating invasive plant pests and diseases on nursery stock, Christmas trees, logs and firewood; and by supporting pollinator and honey bee health. We also carry out control programs designed to prevent the spread of harmful pests such as spongy moth along the leading edge of its range.

How will we be living in the year 2100? Starting in 2017, the Low Technology Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has sought to answer that question by identifying household- and community-scale solutions for subsistence in the post-fossil-fuel world through research and educational programming.
Moonwise Herbs, LLC is a community herbal resource offering handcrafted herbal products (dry herbs as well as mushrooms, lotions, tinctures, infused oils, sprays, bath blends, supplies, and earth-centered learning opportunities. Learning opportunities include apprenticeships, classes, workshops and wellness consultations. We offer herbal related learning materials, including books, beeswax and locally-produced raw honey. We grow and wild harvest many of the herbs in our products, with a focus on quality, beauty and function.
