The Madison Area Master Gardener Assoc. is composed of members who are graduates or students of Master Gardener training through the University of Wisconsin Extension or in other states. We provide continuing education opportunities, fellowship and volunteer programs.
We are the Badger State Dahlia Society, based in Madison, Wisconsin. Our club is a local branch of the American Dahlia Society, and our location makes us part of the Midwest Dahlia Conference.

Madison Area Permaculture Guild & PermacultureWorks offer opportunities, in community, for learning about the sustainable living practices of permaculture design, from food forest gardening to agroforestry, including water management and pollinator habitats, and efficient energy use. We offer fun and educational events and guild meetings throughout the year.
We have a wide variety of books on sustainable gardening & living available at our booth. In addition, we have homemade beeswax food wraps and wool dish scrubbies to start you on your path to removing toxic plastics from you food stream. We also have mushroom logs plugged with Shiitake or Blue Dolphin Oyster spawn, and a craft space to make a native bee house to support pollinators in your garden.
The Wisconsin Hardy Plant Society is a membership of garden enthusiasts who learn, teach and work to grow healthy, long-lasting gardens.
The Madison Herb Society is dedicated to the education of its members and the general public with regard to the culture and use of herbs.
IPAW is a statewide volunteer organization dedicated to the identification and control of invasive terrestrial plants throughout Wisconsin. It works to educate and coordinate individuals and groups to deal with invasives, helping protect our state’s native species and natural heritage.
Wisconsin Peony Society is a club of peony enthusiasts, during Garden Expo we give advice on growing, any questions they may have. Also sell the American Peony Society seeds.

The Wisconsin Daylily Society (WDS) is an organization of friendly folks dedicated to the love and promotion of daylilies. Founded in 1990 in Madison, it was the first daylily club formed in Wisconsin and is the largest of the three now in the state.
We are an organization of people who grow irises and who train ourselves and others in propagating irises. Our main events are our annual iris sow, iris sale and banquet.
