May Xiong/May’s Clay Flowers
Hanover Park, IL
I use polymer air dry clay to make flowers and oil base paints to color the clay. I hand sculpt each petal and leaf with hand sculpting tools to make the clay bloom. After drying, I paint the pieces with vibrant oil colors in realistic details and then assemble into a whole flower. The artwork is then put in a pot and on driftwood for long lasting decorations.
